"What is Life?" is the first of five modules in the 'Astrobiology in the classroom Life on Earth...and elsewhere?" Found on page 5 of the educator guide. Concepts covered in this short activity include defining life and comparing real and fake or live and dead objects and brainstorm ideas about what life is. Refine the definition by playing 20 Questions to identify an object or organism. Students will test the definition by comparing “mystery” samples.
